Product Manager – GameDay Essentials

Job Summary:

Responsible for seeking and managing product and product partnerships at GameDay Essentials, a GameDay Sports lifestyle brand.  Takes steps to measure, enhance, and enrich the position, image and sales of the GameDay Essentials brand and products through various goals and objectives. 

Primary responsibilities:

  • Prepare product and partnership strategies alongside other company executives and staff.
  • Analyze market trends and recommend changes to product and business development strategies based on analysis and feedback.
  • Prepare and adhere to budgets.
  • Ensure product partnership brand messages align with GameDay Essentials.
  • Gather and analyze subscriber/customer insight.
  • Nurture and enrich all external perceptions of the company and growth of market share.
  • Determines customers’ needs and desires by specifying the research needed to obtain market information.
  • Deepen rrelationships with all local, regional and national companies to establish partnerships and positioning of the organization.
  • Assess market competition by comparing the company’s product to competitors’ product.
  • Provides information for management by preparing short-term and long-term product plans.
  • Brings new product(s) to market by analyzing consumer purchasing trends and product development programs; preparing return-on-investment analyses; establishing time schedules with sourcing/fulfillment and product partners.
  • Engage other organizations within the local market.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sourcing to develop strategic product partnership activities and implement the execution framework and strategic plan on identified opportunities.
  • Determines product pricing by utilizing market research data; reviewing production and sales costs; anticipating volume; costing special and customized orders.

Reports To:   Director of Business Development

Salary and Compensation:  Base salary range:  Will be based upon applicable experience and qualifications.  

Hours:  Negotiable

Marketing Manager – GameDay Essentials

Responsible for implementing and managing marketing, advertising and promotional activities at GameDay Essentials, a GameDay Sports lifestyle brand.  Takes steps to measure, enhance, and enrich the position, image and sales of the GameDay Essentials brand and products through various goals and objectives. 

Primary responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement marketing and branding objectives.
  • Expand product solutions and offerings.
  • Prepare marketing strategies alongside other company executives and staff.
  • Analyze market trends and recommend changes to marketing and business development strategies based on analysis and feedback.
  • Prepare and adhere to budgets.
  • Oversee creation and delivery of press releases, advertisements, and other marketing materials.
  • Ensure brand messages are consistent.
  • Gather and analyze customer insight.
  • Nurture and enrich all external perceptions of the company and growth of market share.
  • Engage consumers on social media.
  • Deepen relationships with all media to ensure the most effective messaging and positioning of the organization.
  • Lead all areas of content generation and production across all media platforms.
  • Take calculated risks based on data-driven analytics.
  • Drive overall CRM and direct marketing.
  • Engage other organizations within the community.
  • Collaborate with sales and sourcing to develop strategic partnership activities and implement the execution framework and strategic plan on identified opportunities.
  • Develop and lead a marketing team that will develop and execute new concepts, business models, channels and partners to position business as innovator and leader.
